# Kstuff Lite 1.11 Beta Expands PS5 Support All the Way to Firmware 13.60

The PS5 homebrew scene keeps moving fast.

**EchoStretch has released Kstuff Lite v1.11 Beta**, and this is a pretty big update for PS5 owners. The new release expands firmware support from **PS5 1.00 all the way up to 13.60**, adding support for both the early 1.xx/2.xx firmwares and the much newer 13.xx range.

For anyone unfamiliar with it, Kstuff Lite is an important part of the PS5 homebrew environment. It isn't a jailbreak by itself. Instead, it's a payload used after gaining the required access to the console, providing functionality needed by the homebrew ecosystem.

### What's New in Kstuff Lite 1.11?

The update adds **13.xx firmware support**, along with new support for **1.xx and 2.xx** systems.

There's also significant progress on the FPKG side. The release adds **FPKG support up to firmware 11.40** and includes a fix for FPKG functionality on **11.60**.

Other improvements include performance tuning, PS4 media app support, an INT3 fix for 13.xx firmware and additional Kit-related improvements.

A lot of the FPKG and performance work in this release came from **Drakmor**, while **ArkSama** contributed the 11.60 FPKG fix and **idlesauce** worked on the INT3 fix for 13.xx.

The release also credits **sleirsgoevy**, creator of the original project, alongside **zecoxao, flatz, buzzer-re, Al-Azif** and the other developers who have contributed to the project.

### An Important Detail About 13.60

Seeing **"Supports Firmware 1.00–13.60"** doesn't mean every PS5 up to 13.60 suddenly has a complete one-click jailbreak.

Kstuff Lite is one piece of the overall jailbreak and homebrew stack. The console still needs a compatible entry point and the other required exploit components before Kstuff can be used.

Still, having Kstuff Lite extended all the way to **13.60** is another important piece falling into place for newer PS5 firmware.

With several PS5 projects moving forward at the same time, the higher-firmware scene is definitely becoming much more interesting.

**GoldenGamesNexus will keep following the development and testing of Kstuff Lite as support for newer PS5 firmware continues to improve.**
